The Other Side of AIDS is a controversial 87 minute long 2004 documentary by Robin Scovill which makes the claim that AIDS is not caused by the HIV virus and that HIV treatments are harmful and detrimental to the health of patients, the film features interviews with various prominent AIDS denialists and HIV-positive individuals who have refused prescribed anti-HIV medication to treat their illness.

The film was premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2004 and was screened at the Los Angeles International Film Festival in the same year. it went on to receive additional attention in 2005 when Scovill’s own three year old daughter died of untreated AIDS. Scovill’s wife Christine Maggiore appeared in the film to claim that she and her two children were healthy despite refusing to take anti-HIV medication, Maggiore herself died in 2008 at the age of 52 of AIDS-related illnesses including pneumonia.
