The Art of Travel is a one hour long 2008 documentary written and presented by author Alain de Botton, based on his bestselling book of the same name. It explores the philosophical impulses behind travelling and our desire for it, asks what the point in travelling for pleasure is and ultimately concludes that despite our thirst for adventure the reality of travel seldom matches our fantasies.
