Sex, Drugs & Murder: Life in the Red Light Zone

A six part 2016 mini-series by the BBC who gain an unprecedented look into the lives of the prostitutes who work in the area of Holbeck in Leeds, an area where prostitution has effectively been legalised. The police will not arrest anybody selling sex or buying sex if they are within that area, an attempt to keep other areas of the city clear of prostitution and to improve the safety of the people who work in the worlds oldest profession.

Each episode last around 15 minutes, so an hour and half for the series in total. The documentary was criticized by the organisation English Collective of Prostitutes (ECP) for showing only the darkest part of the industry, the heavy drug addicts, without showing the higher class area of the industry.
