RE:Brand was a humorous documentary series written and hosted by British comedian Russell Brand and his long time writing partner Matt Morgan, the series aimed to challenge various cultural taboos. The series was commissioned by and broadcast by the digital satellite channel UK Play (now defunct). Russell Brand would later confess to being in the grips of a serious heroin addiction at the time of making this series, and claimed that he spent most of the budget on drugs and alcohol.
In Homeless James Brand invites a homeless man to live with him in his house. There were two episodes (part 1 and part 2), in the second episode James returns to live on the streets. Brand later confirmed that James has since died of a drug overdose.
