Hunting Hitler (Season 1)

Published on 10th June 2017 by

Hunting Hitler is a 2015 History Channel television series based on the popular conspiracy theory that Adolf Hitler escaped from his bunker in Berlin at the end of World War II and escaped, possibly to South America where many other Nazi’s fled. The FBI declassified documents from 1947 which showed that the organization was concerned about the lack of a body after Hitler’s reported death. There was some criticism that the series was feeding America’s unhealthy obsession with both Hitler and conspiracy theories.

The series proved popular and it returned for a second season beginning in 2016 (see: Hunting Hitler: Season 2). We have all eight episodes of the first season available to watch here on Documentary Vine, navigate them via the numbered tabs beneath the video player or by using the episode list below. We also currently have all eight episodes of the second season to watch when you have finished.

Hitler’s alleged new life in Argentina living alongside other senior Nazi’s was also the subject of the bestselling book Grey Wolf: The Escape of Adolf Hitler, published by Sterling Adult and available to purchase in paperback, hardcover, kindle, and audio book formats.

It is well known that the British military, with the help of Norwegian resistance, sabotaged Norwegian heavy water plants during WW2 and later sank a shipment of water to the bottom of the lake after the plant was rebuilt. Disappointing to see this portrayed as a discovery of an unknown secret, when all the details could have been easily found on Google.
