Ground Zero Supertower is a 2013 PBS ‘Nova’ feature about the incredible new One World Trade Center superstructure which has been erected on the site of Gound Zero, the former location of the twin towers, filmed as the building was nearing its completion.

The One World Trade Center structure is 104 stories high and 1776 feet high, rising up from where the World Trade Center twin towers once stood, and this documentary looks at the innovative construction techniques and the challenges which the engineers and architects faced in completing the new tower.

Many of the tenants in the new building had previously had offices in the twin towers, and lost employees in the September 11th terrorist attacks. Tenants include Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, and Marsh & McLennan Companies.
