A 2015 documentary which takes a close look Facebook and the power that it has gained, and its influence on privacy and freedom of expression. It focuses on various stories including that of author Peter Øvig Knudsen who was subjected to the sites censorship and PhD student Max Schrems whose PHD research led him into a battle against Mark Zuckerberg and his empire.
The documentary also asks why Facebook are so keen to obtain as much information as possible about the global population but remains highly secretive itself and largely unwilling to share information from the inside of their corporation. It questions why certain pages and posts are censored and why they keep your data after you have deleted it. Should you think twice before leaving your digital footprint Facebook’s eternal memory?
