Dinosaur Revolution

Dinosaur Revolution is a four part American documentary series from 2011 which uses computer generated imagery to portray dinosaurs and other animals which roamed the earth in the Mesozoic era in a narrated nature documentary style. The series took three years to create and was originally going to be a fictional six part series with the title Reign of the Dinosaurs, an idea which was scrapped due to financial cuts and changes in the market strategy of the Discovery Channel network. The series got mixed reviews with some criticizing the quality of the animations.

All four episodes are available to watch here on Documentary Vine, navigate them via the numbered tabs below the video player or by using the episode list below. Also worth a watch if you haven’t already is the six part series Walking with Dinosaurs, which was first aired in 1999 by the BBC and then in 2000 by the Discovery Channel.
