Cults: Dangerous Devotion is a feature-length History Channel documentary which was first aired in 2007, it explores the dark and dangerous world of cults and examines the reasons why people are attracted to cults and what makes them stay. The film includes interviews with people who have survived cults, experts on the subject, and some who remain faithful adherents.

Cult leaders examined in the film include Charles Manson, perhaps the most famous of them all, and Jim Jones. The documentary profiles these cult leaders to determine what makes them so charismatic that they can earn the ultimate devotion from followers and looks at the psychological techniques they use to maintain those levels of devotion.
