A 2008 documentary by Chris Bell which explores the rise of steroid use in the United States by those chasing their dreams of becoming bigger, faster, and stronger, and how this mentality has parallels with what most would perceive to be the American Dream. The film was shown at numerous film festivals.

The film examines the steroid use of Bell’s two brothers who both grew up idolizing well known muscle men and steroid users such as Hulk Hogan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. and features various professional athletes, medical professionals and US congressmen who all discuss the issues of steroid abuse.

The film was well received critically, with one prominent critic pointing out that it didn’t lean towards either being critical of steroid use or defend it, but rather adopts a balanced approach to the subject matter. Bell directed a 2015 follow up documentary which explored the wider issue of prescription drug abuse, Prescription Thugs.
