102 Minutes That Changed America (2008) is a four-time Emmy Award winning History Channel documentary which depicts, almost in real time, the terrorist attacks on New York on September 11th 2001. The documentary primarily uses raw amateur footage shot by civilian journalists on camcorders and cell phones. The film lasts for precisely 102 minutes, attempting to relive the events minute-by-minute, achieving almost exact accuracy.
The documentary first aired on September 11th 2008 to mark the seventh anniversary of the attack, it was screened completely free of commercials in the US (very rare occurrence!) and attracted over 5 million viewers in America during its first airing. It was also shown in several other countries on the same date, including the United Kingdom, France and Brazil. Watch more September 11 Documentaries Here.
