An eight part 1999 BBC and A&E documentary series hosted by Mark Haliley which tells the incredible story of the discovery and exploration of our solar system, revealing the deepest secrets of our neighbours in space. The series was produced using substantial amounts of footage from the archives of both United States and Soviet space programs and features contributions from various pioneering space scientists and explorers.

We have all eight episodes available to watch here on Documentary Vine, the series was remastered in 2004 and we are unsure whether our embeds are from the 1999 or 2004 version. Navigate between the episodes via the numbered tabs beneath the video player or by using the episode link list below. When you have finished watching check out our other space documentaries.
