Stacey Dooley visits Thailand to explore a new drug epidemic sweeping through the country in this 2013 episode of Stacey Dooley Investigates (BBC). A dangerous mix of methamphetamine and caffeine is flooding the country and creating addicts, many of them only children. She explores the severe mental health problems that the drug is causing and the violence associated with the drugs distribution.
Dooley follows the Thai authorities on drugs raids on Bangkok bars and the border control near to the border with Burma, from where much of the drug is imported.
