Russell Brand sets out across America with his best friend and radio co-presenter Matt Morgan on a road trip to recreate the journey of his literary hero Jack Kerouac in his novel On The Road, Morgan identifies numerous similarities between Brand and Kerouac on the way. The documentary was first aired by the BBC in 2007.
The pair visit various Kerouac related events or landmarks along the way, including his gravestone, having started in the writers hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts. This one hour long 2007 feature was broadcast on BBC 4, check out more Russell Brand stuff here.
