A 25 minute long independent documentary by Matt Ellenbogen about entrepreneur Chuck Patton who bravely opened a small independent coffee shop directly across the street from a Starbucks in California. Its a great watch for any person who is business minded, but particularly those who are interested in the idea of opening a coffee shop themselves.

His company Black Rock Coffee Roasters has since become a big success, opening two further locations and with a thriving eCommerce operation selling quality coffee to its loyal customers. Also worth a watch on the subject of coffee are the 2014 documentary A Film About Coffee (2014) and the 2014 BBC Business Boomers episode Coffee Shop Hot Shots which explores the ongoing war for market share between the biggest coffee shop chains in the United Kingdom.
