The debut album was an immediate commercial success and is viewed as an important an influential album and it laid the foundation from which Oasis would go on to achieve global success, it is probably up there with the most successful first albums from any British band in history and could probably be considered one of the foundations of the Brit Pop genre (see: Live Forever: The Rise and Fall of Brit Pop).

The film features contributions from various people closely associated with Oasis, including original drummer Tony McCarroll, several executives from the bands record label Creation Records and Mani from The Stone Roses.
