A 2006 American television documentary which looks at the construction of three bridges in China which can each be considered amazing feats of engineering. The three bridges featured are the Lupu which is the longest arch bridge in the world, the Runyang which is China’s largest suspension bridge, and the Sutong which is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world.

This documentary looks at the expertise required to design and then build each of these bridges, which each needed to be high enough to allow cargo ships to pass under them yet strong enough to withstand the earthquakes and typhoons which frequently hit the region. Also impressive is the speed at which these structures have been erected, the 750 meter long Lupu arch bridge for example was inaugurated less than three years after construction began.
