A BBC ‘Wildlife on One’ episode from 1994 presented by David Attenborough which focuses on the inhabitants of the Red Sea coral reef, and the drama and politics which cohabiting brings. To the untrained eye the coral reef looks like an underwater garden paradise but most of the creatures who live there are out to either avoid each other or attack each other, the documentary lifts the lid on a world of trickery and corruption.

The techniques used to capture the footage were cutting edge at the time of filming, with specially adapted cameras designed to film at both dawn and dusk, although the footage now looks dated of course with newer series like Blue Planet raising the bar. More David Attenborough Documentaries Here.
