How to Make a Royal Marines Officer

A two part 1989 BBC documentary which follows the progress of 29 men who want to become Royal Marine Officers, in order to be successful they have to prove that they are capable of leading 30 elite servicemen on the battlefield. They undertake intensive training at Commando Training Centre in Devon to attempt to complete the All Arms Commando Course, if successful they will get their green berets.

This documentary followed the earlier 1985 BBC documentary series Royal Marines: Behind Enemy Lines which followed the progress of 25 prospective Royal Marine commandos, undertaking grueling expeditions which included Artic conditions in Norway.
