Living Small is a documentary which explores the ‘Tiny House’ movement, a phenomenon which is seeing people build really small homes for themselves due to simply having the belief that we can all live with less. It goes to the heart of the issue sustainability and overpopulation, using less of the worlds natural resources, why build a big house when you can live comfortably in a small one?
The film documents the building of two different tiny houses and examines some of the challenges that the builders face and the philosophy and ideals which lie behind their decision to live small. It also features interviews with other people at the heart of the tiny house movement.
