One hour long 2004 BBC documentary which looked back retrospectively at the life and music of the great American country singer Johnny Cash, broadcast the year after his death in 2003 at the age of 71.
Contributors to the film include esteemed musicians Elvis Costello, Jack Clement, Little Richard and Merie Haggard, his long time manager Lou Robin, his children John Carter and Rosanne Cash, and others. The film makes use of performance footage from the archives.
Cash achieved superstar status in the 1960’s with classic songs like I Walk The Line, Folsom Prison Blues, and Ring of Fire. Another great documentary to watch is Johnny Cash: The Man, His World, His Music which was filmed when Cash was at the peak of his fame, following him as he toured the USA.
