A short 2012 documentary which peeks into the world of professional boxing trainer Joe Gallagher, who many fans of the sport consider to be the best boxing trainer in the United Kingdom. The film includes footage from an interview with Gallagher himself and some of the boxers in his stable.
Gallagher hit the big time in training when he took over Billy Graham’s old gym in Denton, Manchester, and has since trained numerous champions including John Murray, Anthony Crolla, Matthew Macklin, Scott Quigg, and Liam Smith.
The gym has since relocated to Bolton and Gallagher at one point had a 69 victory winning streak with his stable. In 2015 he was awarded Ring Magazines Trainer of the Year Award in recognition of the conveyor belt of talent that his gym is churning out.
