An episode from the first series of Drugs, Inc., screened in 2010. This episode explores the multi-billion dollar heroin industry, which turns cartels and warlords into billionaires but also simultaneously provides employment to millions of impoverished farmers in countries such as Afghanistan whilst causing destruction to communities throughout the world.

This episode takes the viewer to the heart of the heroin production process in Afghanistan, the global leading producer of heroin, and then onto the streets of Chicago where a dealer demonstrates the final preparations before it hits the street to reach the end users. The film also shows a police raid on a distribution network in New Jersey.

Drugs, Inc. Has now run for six series, see the full Drugs, Inc. episode list for links to watch more episodes about heroin and other drugs.
