Welsh boxer Lee Selby has had his problems in life and career, he was brought up in an impoverished Welsh town and used drugs and alcohol as a teenager. The death of his brother spurned him on to have a real go at making something of his boxing career.

In this BBC documentary the crew gains an insight into Selby’s life so far and then follows him to LA where he trains for his first crack at winning a World Title belt against reigning IBF champion Evgeny Gradovich, a tough fighter who is unbeaten in 20 fights.

The film crew are given all areas access into his gym in Wales as well as his training camp in LA, the documentary features contributions from numerous people close to the boxer including his trainer Chris Sanigar and promoter Eddie Hearn.
