This heartfelt 2001 documentary follows the stories of a number of people who have been affected by the loss of their fathers to suicide.
Film-maker Lisa Fitzgibbons grew up with anxiety, struggling to make sense of the world around her. Like many others she found out that her problems ran in the family and that her father had committed suicide. Learning that there were many others who had lost their father to suicide, Lisa decided to contact two others who had experienced something similar.
For Robert, it took 30 years to uncover the truth around his father’s death, whilst Anne Marie still struggles with the memory of not kissing her father goodbye when she left for school the morning of his passing.
Watch as these sufferers come together to discuss what they have been through and what they continue to experience due to the damage left behind by suicide, discovering a new possibility for hope along the way.
