9/11: Press For Truth is a 2006 documentary which was loosely based on the 2004 book The Terror Timeline by Paul Thompson (and produced with his blessing). The film follows some of the Jersey Girls, a group of four American women who lost their husbands on 9/11, and some other relatives of 9/11 victims in their quest for the truth about the terror attacks, they have multiple questions about the events that day which they feel have gone unanswered.
The producers make extensive use of archived news footage and newspaper cuttings to document the attacks and scutinize the workings of the 9/11 commission. The film was premiered in New York and San Francisco and was released on DVD.
One of the Jersey Girls, Kristen Breitweiser, later published a book about her grief and subsequent activism: Wake-Up Call: The Political Education of a 9/11 Widow, available in paperback, hardcover, and kindle editions.
